Deanne Brink is from Naples, Florida and is the reigning 2022 Ms. Earth.Growing up in the Midwest, with a family of farmers Deanne learned first-hand the importance of the environment and the impact of our actions, grounding her passion for making responsible choices for our planet.Deanne is a former award-winning television news anchor, and now works as the news director for an international news technology company based in San Francisco, CA.When not working, curating news for millions of people, Deanne is a strong believer in community service and has worked closely with the Naples Junior Women’s Club, a volunteer and community organization that is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. She has held the past executive board positions of both Philanthropy Chair and Development Chair.Deanne and her fiancé’ Greg also donate time to their church, where Deanne served as a volunteer media producer and the two helped on a team feeding more than 79,000 community families after a massive category five hurricane (Irma) devasted their hometown.Deanne is also a member of the organization “Captains of Clean Water” in Florida,working to advocate for our water ... to help reduce the effects of toxic algae blooms, pollution and red tide that wreak havoc on our oceans and waterways.Deanne is also an advocate for an active, healthy lifestyle and places a strong emphasis on fitness, health and exercise making it a part of her daily routine.In her free time, Deanne is an avid equestrian and enjoys showing and training American Saddlebred horses...including her love, ‘The Cat’s Meow.’Deanne continues to support the pageant journey for millions of women and girls and reminds everyone, pageants are about the journey. Being part of a pageant not only gives young women and girls the courage to try something new, but it builds courage, intelligence and leadership skills, they will use throughout their lifetimes
